We were traveling through Sioux City when a Maintenance Warning light appeared on the console of our 2019 Honda CR-V. Luckily, we had just eaten lunch and were about a mile from Vern Eide Honda, so we drove to the service entrance and met Matt Speck, who was very helpful and arranged to have the crucial service we needed to get us on our way to a hockey game in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The service was great, and we felt comfortable in the dealership waiting during the service. I met Molly Chanthavong who was friendly and took time out from her work to show us several new models in the showroom and on the dealer lot. We were very impressed at the inventory (tempted too!) and were on our way in about an hour, as promised. This brought back memories of buying my first Honda, a 1986 Accord sedan, at Vern Eide Honda in Sioux Falls from salesman John Conlon. I have good memories of that car and the other Hondas I have since purchased. We did not purchase a vehicle today, but the survey could not be submitted without saying that we had as a "reason for visit."

Although my repairs were more extensive than I had hoped I was greeted with the rental car at no charge and my service advisor John found a warranty for one of the repairs that I needed. Instead of this being the end of my car it was the beginning of another happy season of driving my Honda

The service was done fast. The check list (bill) was also explained to me and services that needed to be done.Unfortunately the car wash is not up and running yet. I love having my car washed after a oil change and tire rotation.

The service at Honda was great especially under the circumstances. The service manager Sam gave me a loaner vehicle while my car was being serviced for 3 weeks !! One the other hand I will no longer be buying any Honda vehicles related to the issues I experienced with my Honda CR-V I have been buying Honda for over 10 years however with the cost of repairs that cost 1/2 of the vehicle value and having the car for 4 years with 111,000 miles and being serviced just by Honda has left me disappointed in their vehicles!!! I had to replace the turbo and the catalyst converter plus the fuel injector on my 2018 Honda CR-V with 110,000 miles, I have never put as much money into a car I have own until this one needless to say I am no longer buying a vehicle made by Honda !!!!

This was the first time I had my Honda serviced since buying it new in June. Nick Fowler was personable and made me feel very comfortable in the dealership. He stated my service would take approximately an hour, and it wasn't much more than that. I was able to sit comfortably in their waiting area and really appreciate the text message when my vehicle was ready.
